Why having Electric Vehicles is stupid
So today the US is dealing with a 3rd day or power outages along the east coast. All because we are dealing with a massive heat wave. Coupled with a few storms as well and we have catastrophic power failures.
Which leads me into another reason why having an EV is a STUPID idea. As much as we tout our “power” here in the US to the rest of the world, our infrastructure is crumbling and we barely can deal with increases in power usage doing peak times in the summer. Not to mention the environmentalists that want to switch over to clean energies at a higher percentage than we currently have. Guess what, it would be unsustainable to do so. Even Japan realized that they need their Nuclear plants online just 3 months after having them shut down.
If we were to have EV’s running all across this country, our power infrastructure would be strained every single night causing power outages more often then just in the summer. We need to wake the hell up from this dream of battery operated cars and looking into Fuel Cell vehicles. The only bi-product of these sorts of vehicles is water and they run on the most abundant resource on this planet. Hydrogen.
There are vehicles from small forklifts to big rig trucks that are being developed on these things. We need to be smart about what we want our future in transportation to look like. EV’s are NOT the answer and they never will be.
If you purchased an EV, I hope you kept your receipt because your car will be useless before its batteries are fully depleted.
